The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced the release of call-up numbers for 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members (PCMs). The announcement was made through the NYSC’s verified X (Twitter) handle, @officialnyscng, with management confirming that the call-up numbers were released based on the order of registration.
According to the notice, due to limited camp capacity across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), only about 40 percent of registered PCMs will be accommodated in the upcoming orientation course.
However, the NYSC management reassured affected graduates that those who are not accommodated in this stream will be automatically moved to the next batch, which will take place shortly after the Batch C exercise.
This means that no registered PCM will be left out of service — their mobilization will simply be deferred to the next available batch.
The NYSC further reiterated its commitment to ensuring a smooth, transparent, and hitch-free orientation programme and service year experience for all corps members nationwide.
What PCMs Should Do Next:
- PCMs are advised to log into their NYSC dashboards to confirm their call-up numbers and print their call-up letters as soon as possible.
- Those yet to be assigned to a camp should remain patient as they will be automatically included in the next mobilization stream.
- PCMs should also regularly check the NYSC portal and official social media pages for verified updates regarding posting and camp schedules.
This announcement comes as the scheme continues preparations for the 2025 Batch C Orientation Course, which will bring together thousands of young Nigerian graduates for the start of their one-year national service journey.
In summary:
The NYSC has released call-up numbers for Batch C, accommodating 40 percent of PCMs in the first stream, while the remaining will join the next batch immediately after. The management assures all corps members of a fair and seamless mobilization process.
