The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced a three-day physical verification exercise for foreign-trained Nigerian graduates seeking mobilization for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II service year.

In a notice shared on its official X account, the Scheme directed all affected prospective corps members (PCMs) whose academic credentials and travel documents are yet to be physically verified to report for the exercise between Monday, July 13, and Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

“This is to inform all Foreign-Trained Nigerian Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Service Year, whose credentials and travel documents are yet to be physically verified, to present themselves for the physical verification exercise,” the NYSC said.

The verification exercise is mandatory for foreign-trained Nigerian graduates who have completed their online registration but have not yet undergone physical verification of their credentials and travel documents.

According to the NYSC, only candidates who successfully complete the verification process will be eligible for deployment, exemption, or exclusion from the National Service programme.

Eligible prospective corps members are expected to report only to the verification centre selected during registration and on the date and time indicated on their verification slips.

The designated centres are:

1. Enugu : NYSC Secretariat, 2 Abakaliki Road, GRA, Enugu.

2. Bauchi : Shadawanka Military Barracks, Bauchi.

3. Federal Capital Territory (FCT): NYSC Orientation Camp, Kubwa, Abuja.

4. Kano : Bukavu Military Barracks, Fagge, Airport Road.

5.  Lagos : NYSC Orientation Camp, Iyana Ipaja.

6. Osun : NYSC Secretariat, New Ikirun Road, Osogbo.

7. Rivers : NYSC Secretariat, 40 Ikwerre Road, Port Harcourt.

8. Sokoto  : Eagle Officers’ Mess, Giginya Cantonment, Gusau Road.

9.  Adamawa: NYSC Secretariat, Federal Secretariat Complex, Yola.

The NYSC instructed all affected graduates to appear with the original copies of every academic credential and travel document submitted during online registration.

Foreign-trained medical graduates and other health professionals are also required to present their original practising licences, registration certificates, and other relevant documents issued by their professional regulatory bodies.

Candidates whose qualifications were evaluated by the Federal Ministry of Education must submit the original evaluation letter to the NYSC Headquarters in Abuja and upload the acknowledged copy to the NYSC portal.

The Scheme advised prospective corps members to strictly comply with the date, venue, and time stated on their verification slips to ensure an orderly exercise and prevent overcrowding at the various centres.

NYSC also stressed that only candidates who appear in person with their original credentials will be verified.

The Scheme reiterated that physical verification remains a compulsory stage of the mobilization process for all foreign-trained graduates.

Candidates who successfully complete the exercise will proceed with deployment or other applicable service decisions in line with NYSC regulations, while those who fail to meet the verification requirements may not be mobilized.

Prospective corps members are advised to prepare all required documents ahead of the exercise and continue monitoring NYSC’s official communication channels for updates regarding the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II service year.
