The Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) for the 2025/2026 admissions is now active. Candidates can monitor their admission status in real time and confirm their offers directly through the JAMB portal.
Schools have begun uploading their admission lists to the CAPS system. To see whether you’ve been offered admission, especially if your chosen school doesn’t publish its list elsewhere, then you must check CAPS. Once an offer appears, you must either accept or reject it promptly.
How to Check Your Admission Status on CAPS
- Go to JAMB e-Facility and log in using your registered email and password.
- Navigate to Check Admission Status.
- Click Access my CAPS.
- Locate Admission Status.
- If admitted, you’ll see your photo and the congratulatory message.
- If not admitted yet, you’ll see: “Sorry, no admission has been given yet.”
- If admitted, accept or reject the offer:
- Send ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 from the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
You have four weeks to respond. Candidates without their registered number must visit a JAMB-accredited center to accept or reject their offers. Don’t forget to print your admission letter after accepting—it’s required for clearance and registration.
Tips for Mobile Users
If you’re using a smartphone, you might only see a welcome message. To access the full CAPS interface:
- Use Google Chrome
- Tap the menu and select Desktop Site It should then display the full options correctly.
