The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed all candidates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to immediately re-upload their O’Level results on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
This announcement was made in JAMB’s official weekly bulletin, where the board explained that all previously uploaded results have been cleared from the system. Candidates who had earlier submitted their WAEC or NECO results, whether complete or awaiting results are now required to re-upload the final version to remain eligible for admission.
According to JAMB, many students uploaded “awaiting results” during registration. To avoid discrepancies in the admission process, every candidate must go back to a JAMB-accredited CBT centre and upload their final results afresh.
The board emphasized that failure to re-upload will automatically disqualify candidates from being considered for admission in the 2025/2026 academic session.
What Candidates Should Do:
- Visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre.
- Take along a printout of your original WAEC/NECO statement of results.
- Ask the officials to re-upload it to CAPS.
- Confirm on your JAMB profile that the result has been successfully updated.
JAMB further assured candidates that this directive is part of its effort to ensure transparency, fairness, and accuracy in the admission process for Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
