The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced the schedule for the physical verification of credentials and travel documents for foreign-trained Nigerian graduates participating in the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Service Year.
According to a statement released on the NYSC’s verified X (Twitter) handle, @officialnyscng, the physical verification exercise will hold from Monday, 10th to Wednesday, 12th November 2025 across nine designated centres nationwide.
The verification exercise is meant for all foreign-trained Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) whose credentials and travel documents are yet to be physically verified after completing their online registration.
Below are the approved verification centres:
- Enugu – NYSC Secretariat, 2 Abakaliki Road, G.R.A, Enugu State.
- Bauchi – Shadawanka Military Barracks, Bauchi.
- FCT (Abuja) – NYSC Orientation Camp, Kubwa.
- Kano – Bukavu Military Barracks, Fagge, Airport Road, Kano.
- Lagos – NYSC Orientation Camp, Iyana Ipaja.
- Osun – NYSC Secretariat, New Ikirun Road, Osogbo.
- Rivers – NYSC Secretariat, 40 Ikwerre Road, Port Harcourt.
- Sokoto – Eagle Officers Mess, Gingiya Military Barracks, Gusau Road, Sokoto.
- Adamawa – NYSC Secretariat, Federal Secretariat Complex, Yola.
The NYSC management emphasized that the verification exercise is mandatory and serves as a crucial step before deployment, exemption, or exclusion from the National Service.
Important Guidelines for PCMs:
- PCMs must strictly adhere to the date, time, and venue indicated on their verification slip to avoid overcrowding.
- All participants are to present the original copies of their credentials and travel documents as uploaded during online registration.
- Medical graduates are required to present their Licenses, Registration Certificates, and other relevant documents issued by professional bodies, along with the originals at the verification venue.
- Those who obtained Evaluation Letters from the Federal Ministry of Education must submit the original copies at the NYSC Headquarters in Abuja, upload acknowledged copies online, and present them during verification.
- Only those physically verified and cleared will be eligible for deployment, exemption, or exclusion from the NYSC scheme.
The management reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining order, transparency, and fairness throughout the process, urging all foreign-trained graduates to comply fully with the outlined procedures.
