First, I’ll like to tell you that you’re not the first person to get a low JAMB Score, so wipe your tears and don’t do anything stupid.
Secondly, Don’t message anybody on social media to upgrade your JAMB score, it’s lie and they’ll scam you off you and your parent’s hard earned money.
Anywhere you see a similar message like this one above, Please run away, No matter how convincing they look or sound. PLEASE, IT IS A SCAM
What you should do instead
Now, I’ll like to know the situation of Jamb that you are in, let me explain this better below;
1. There are some candidates who have written JAMB for more than 1 or 2 times and wants to do anything to enter into the higher institution this year.
2. There are some other candidates who can afford to wait till next year and try again next year
So, for these different set of people the action to take is very different and I’ll make some suggestions below.
If you are a candidate that can afford to wait another year, do this.
First thing I’ll tell you is don’t waste this year, since you’re not going to school and want to wait for the next JAMB, you should use the opportunity to do other things like learn a digital skill, like DIGITAL MARKETING, GRAPHICS DESIGN, WEB DEVELOPMENT and many many indemand skills that will not just give you knowledge but will also create an extra revenue stream for you in the future and even when you finally get to school.
And when it’s finally time to write your next JAMB, you should dedicate the time for serious preparation, 1000% more than the preparation you made this year, so that you can actually get the High JAMB score you need, you should use past questions, study plans, tutorials or structured lessons to significantly improve your score and change institution or course of study if needed.
Now, if you’re the type of candidate who cannot afford to go another year without gaining admission, this is what to do.
If JAMB has jammed you for too many times and you just want to gain admission in any way you can then there are multiple things you can do, e.g.
1. You should change your Institution and Course of study to schools that requires lower admission requirements, there are actually schools that will give you admission for the any JAMB score in the range of 140 above…
so, you should check out those school, make a decision and take advantage of the JAMB Change of Institution or Course Form that way you have a better change of getting an admission this year.
2. Choose a Polytechnic, Because I don’t even see why many candidates are avoiding polytechnics and focusing on Universities, many of you don’t have anybody to tell you sha but polytechnic are originally not supposed to be second choices, but in Nigeria it is what it is.
When changing your course, choose a well known and high quality polytechnic and go there, you will even get your preferred course of study if you have a decent JAMB score.
And even If your desire is to School in a University, you can still still switch back to University with DIRECT ENTRY after your ND Programme in the polytechnic, so this is a very solid option for you.
