The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch B Stream II Orientation Course will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, across orientation camps in Nigeria.
The NYSC made the announcement in a press statement posted on its official X account, informing prospective corps members and the general public about the schedule for the three-week orientation exercise.
According to the statement, the orientation course will take place simultaneously across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory and is scheduled to end on Aug. 25, 2026.

The agency also announced that call-up numbers have been uploaded to the dashboards of prospective corps members, while call-up letters will be made available later.
The NYSC Director General, Brig. Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated prospective corps members mobilized for the 2026 Batch B Stream II service year following the successful completion of their studies in higher institutions in Nigeria and abroad.
Nafiu wished the prospective corps members a safe journey to their respective orientation camps and advised them to avoid travelling at night.
He also urged them to follow all travel and safety guidelines throughout their journey to the orientation camps.
