Waiting for NECO or NABTEB result before applying for admission? Don’t assume you’re already out.

A new issue has been raised about the ongoing 2026/2027 admission process.

The Owners of Private Schools Association of Nigeria says some students are being disadvantaged because NECO and NABTEB results are not yet available, while some universities have already started or completed parts of their admission process.

If you are waiting for NECO or NABTEB, keep checking your school’s admission updates. Don’t simply conclude that you cannot be considered for admission.

Also, don’t pay an agent because someone tells you they can “help” you secure admission.

For now, the important thing is to watch your chosen school’s portal and JAMB CAPS closely, and act as soon as your result becomes available.
