The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has launched its official website, nanshq.org, as part of efforts to strengthen communication, transparency and access to information for students across Nigeria.
NANS announced the launch in a press statement posted on its official X account on Thursday, July 23, 2026.
The association described the website as a major milestone in its efforts to modernize its operations and improve service delivery to millions of Nigerian students.
According to the statement, the platform will serve as NANS’ official digital hub, providing students and stakeholders with timely information on student-focused initiatives, official statements, welfare interventions, key services and other programmes of the association.
The website is also expected to improve communication between the NANS national leadership and students in tertiary institutions across the country.

NANS National President, Comrade Akinteye Babatunde Afeez, said the launch reflects the association’s commitment to transparency, innovation, accountability and effective service delivery.
Afeez encouraged students, stakeholders and members of the public to visit the platform, explore its features and stay informed about the activities of the association.
He said the website would help ensure that Nigerian students have direct access to authentic information from NANS while supporting the development of a more responsive and digitally driven student movement.
The NANS president reaffirmed the association’s commitment to championing the welfare, rights and aspirations of Nigerian students through innovative solutions and purposeful leadership.
The association described the launch as the beginning of its broader efforts to modernize its operations and build stronger connections with students across Nigeria.
“Aluta Continua, Victoria Ascerta!” the statement concluded.
