JAMB 2025 Exam Date

Mark your calendars now, The Mock Exam is set for April 5, 2025, While The Main Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Exam is slated to run from April 25, 2025, through May 5, 2025. These exams are computer-based and will be held at accredited centers nationwide.

Once you’re registered, keep an eye out for your specific exam date, time, and venue, which will be available on the JAMB portal or sent via SMS.

Requirements for JAMB 2025 Registration

Before getting into the registration process, make sure you’ve got all your documents set. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • National Identification Number (NIN): This unique 11-digit number is a must-have for all Nigerian citizens. You can obtain it from any NIMC enrollment center or through the NIMC mobile app. Your NIN is essential for creating your JAMB profile and completing the registration.
  • JAMB Profile Code: After securing your NIN, send it via SMS to 55019 or 66019. JAMB will reply with a 10-digit profile code, which you’ll need to purchase your ePIN and finalize your registration. Heads up: this SMS will cost you about N50.
  • Active Phone Number: Ensure you have a valid and active phone number. This will be used for all communications with JAMB, including receiving your profile code and other vital updates.
  • JAMB ePIN: This unique code is your ticket to the exam. You can purchase it from authorized channels like banks, online payment platforms, or via USSD codes. The ePIN costs N3,500. Additionally, there’s a N1,500 examination fee, a N1,500 fee for the optional Mock-UTME (if you’re interested), and a N700 registration fee. All in all, you’re looking at a total of N7,200 if you opt for the mock exam.
  • Personal Details: Be ready to provide your full name, date of birth, gender, state of origin, and local government area. You’ll also need a recent passport-sized photograph, and be prepared for biometric verification and to provide your signature during the registration process.

Step-by-Step Guide to Register for JAMB 2025

Ready to get started? Follow these steps:

  1. Obtain Your NIN: Visit any NIMC enrollment center or use the NIMC mobile app to get your National Identification Number.
  2. Generate Your JAMB Profile Code: Send your NIN as an SMS to 55019 or 66019. Wait for a reply containing your 10-digit profile code.
  3. Purchase Your ePIN: With your profile code in hand, head to any authorized bank, online payment platform, or use a USSD code to buy your JAMB ePIN.
  4. Visit an Accredited CBT Center: Take your ePIN, NIN, and other required documents to a JAMB-approved Computer-Based Test center. Complete the registration form, choose your preferred exam date and center, and undergo biometric verification.
  5. Collect Your Registration Slip: After completing the registration, you’ll receive a slip containing your personal details, exam schedule, and center information. You’ll also get a CD with the JAMB syllabus and e-brochure to guide your study.
