The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will conclude on March 8, 2025. This registration period, which commenced on February 3, 2025, will not be extended, as emphasized by JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.
Dr. Benjamin highlighted that over 1.5 million candidates have successfully registered, aligning with the Board’s projections for this examination cycle. He urged prospective candidates to complete their registrations promptly to avoid last-minute challenges.

The Board also noted a recent decline in the number of daily registrations, underscoring the importance of adhering to the established timeline. Extending the registration period could disrupt subsequent processes, including examinations, result management, and the admissions exercise, which are coordinated with other agencies.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to finalize their registrations as soon as possible to ensure a smooth experience and to comply with the 2025 UTME schedule.
