The NYSC 2026 Batch C Stream II orientation course starts on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, in orientation camps across all 36 states and the FCT, and it runs for three weeks until Tuesday, 24 November. The approval was announced by the National Youth Service Corps in a statement signed by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
If you’ve been mobilised for Stream II, the dates you need to plan around are the three days of registration at camp. Registration opens on the first day and closes at midnight on Friday, 6 November, which is also the day of the swearing-in ceremony, so arriving late in the window leaves you very little room if anything goes wrong with your documents.

Your registration window at camp is only three days long
NYSC has asked everyone mobilised for this stream to report to their designated camps on schedule and follow the rules there. In practice, that means sorting out travel to your state of deployment early, since the first week of November is when thousands of graduates will be on the roads at the same time. Aim to reach camp on 4 or 5 November rather than the final evening, so there’s time to complete clearance and registration before the midnight cut-off on the 6th.
...all prospective corps members mobilised for the 2026 Batch 'C' Stream II service year to report to their designated orientation camps as scheduled and comply with all camp requirements.
Check your call-up letter and documents before you travel
The announcement doesn’t change the usual process for getting your call-up letter, which is done through the NYSC mobilisation portal. Make sure the state of deployment and personal details on the letter match your records, and keep both printed and digital copies, because you’ll present them during registration at camp.
If your name, date of birth or course doesn’t match what your institution uploaded, raise it with your school’s Student Affairs office or the NYSC desk officer before November, since corrections are much harder to handle once camp has started. For the latest notices from the scheme, check the official NYSC website rather than forwarded messages on WhatsApp.
What happens after the 24 November closing ceremony
The closing ceremony on 24 November ends the orientation phase, after which corps members move to their places of primary assignment to begin the main part of the service year. That gives anyone mobilised for Stream II roughly four weeks from now to prepare, which is enough time to save for transport and camp essentials if you start planning this week.
